Prime Minister Gaati Shakti joins various departments for coordinated development of projects, from road to rail, aviation to agriculture, Moody said. The integrated approach is in line with the government’s plan to raise capital expenditures to strengthen the economy. Only 3,000 miles of electrified railroad lines existed before 2014, but in the past seven years, more than 24,000 miles of electrified railroad tracks, he said. Similarly, before 2014, only 60 grams of panchayats were connected with fiber optics, which is now expanded to 150,000 panchayats in just seven years.

Prime Minister Modi said infrastructure was not a priority for most political parties because it was not even seen in their manifesto. According to the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), TV Narendran, Prime Minister Gatti Shakti’s national master plan is “replacing games for the industry” due to the “scale and speed”.
