Dream Cruises to increase Genting Dream’s passenger capacity

Over 2,500 guests will now be able to board any of Genting Dream’s cruises from Hong Kong

Dream Cruises will increase Genting Dream’s passenger capacity from 50% to 75% of the maximum starting December 1, 2021, and will allow more than 2,500 guests to board each of its ‘Super Seacation’ cruises from Hong Kong.

“Dream Cruises is pleased to be able to increase the capacity of passengers on board the Genting Dream to 75% and we would like to thank the Hong Kong authorities for providing us with this seal of approval on the effectiveness of our health and hygiene protocols,” Kent said. Joe, president of Genting Cruise Lines. “Since we resumed sailing on July 30, we have welcomed over 70,000 passengers on Genting Dream with no Covid-19-related incidents, and we are grateful to Hong Kong residents for trusting us.”

Guests can embark on the ‘Nordic Christmas Adventure’ on board the ship until 1 January. A Nordic village and market will appear on board, along with the Santa Express train passing through the town of Ginger. Christmas-themed dishes will be available in on-board restaurants, while entertainment will include the ‘VERRY Christmas’ stage production.

“As the first cruise line to resume cruises in Hong Kong, Dream Cruises will continue to work hard to provide city residents with the safe and worry-free vacation option that provides a true ‘escape’ experience that is Asian in heart and international spirit,” Joe said.
